Wine tasting at Sonoma-Enoteca is a truly unique wine country experience. Ten different California wineries have collectively joined together to sell their limited production wines.

At our spacious Mediterranean style tasting room, you'll savor some of the best of Sonoma’s and Mendocino’s boutique vineyards that you can taste and buy only here. In addition to tasting at the wine bar you can enjoy shopping at our store for art, glass wear, wine books, wine accessories, California olive oils and gorgeous furnishings that reflect the best in wine country living.

There are things to do at Sonoma-Enoteca for everyone! When coming the to Sonoma County wine region, be sure to visit our tasting bar right on the Sonoma Town Plaza, nestled among Sonoma’s fine dining restaurants, shops, historic landmarks and parks, only a 45 minutes scenic drive north of San Francisco.

2004 Trios 'Monte Rosso' Zinfandel, Sonoma Valley,

Tasting Notes: Pure aromas of concentrated strawberry, cherry and blackplum are accented beautifully with delicate white pepper and other spices. Wonderfully silky and long in the mouth. Zinfandel doesn't get any better than this!

This Old Vine Zin from the famed Luis Martini vineyard. The Monte Rosso Vineyard has 100+ year old vines and produces extremely low-yield Zin with tremendous concentration and incredible aroma. The 1000ft. altitude of the vineyard sits well above the fog line, allowing the grapes to ripen more fully than the cooler lower valley.

This is a very special offering and very limited, the kind of wine real wine lovers seek-out. Gallo bought this vineyard in 2002 and we were lucky to get some as we are friends with the winemaker at Gallo-Sonoma Marcello Monticelli. In fact his sons Massimo & Mario are Trios winemakers! The B Wise Estate borders the Monte Rosso Vineyard and has some of the namesake red soils on the property.
