Balance is vital. Founded in 1999, Bryce McNamee of Boutique Wine Collection, declared the pursuit of balance both a personal philosophy and an approach to curating the portfolio.
Boutique Wine Collection originally took root in selections from South Africa and today, specializes in indigenous varieties from the eastern hemisphere featuring Austria, Hungary, France, Corsica, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia and South Africa. In each selection there is a balance between origin, varietal, quality, value and above all, people and the stories behind them.
Balance being the most important element in fine wine, was chosen as the logo for Boutique Wine Collection. The logo is composed by the base of a wine glass, which morphs into a vine that bifurcates at the top forming the arms of a scale measuring the balance between the vineyards and the wine. Being a Libra, Bryce McNamee has always striven to find balance in life as well as wine.
Humans have been fermenting fruit into wine for millennia. With each generation teaching the next, wine has evolved into an art that evokes a sense of place. Terroir gives wine its essence, people make it culture and art. But it’s in bottles shared that the memories and soul are found.
Our company’s mission is to create a boutique collection of wines, sharing origin stories of both families and grapes, for people to embrace wine as a dynamic art made by hand.
