A legacy that evolves over time

In 1986, the Chaves winery positioned itself as a pioneer, being one of the first to market wines under the name “Wines of the Earth”, guaranteeing the origin and quality of Albariño from the Val do Salnés. This milestone marked a before-and-after in our history,
laying the foundations for something even bigger.

That same visionary spirit led us to actively participate in the creation of the prestigious Rías Baixas denomination, being the second winery to be inscribed in its registry. This achievement not only reaffirmed our commitment to excellence,
It also placed us on the map as referents of Galician oenology.
