Sisto Sacchetto, founder of the Venetian winery, expanded the wine trade in Italy in the early post-war period with his technical and distribution skills.
The grapes for the wonderful wines all come from Italy – this was a matter close to the heart of the founder. Sisto Sacchetto introduced the tradition into the family business of consciously working with the vineyards and developing an understanding of the given soils.
The son, Filiberto Sacchetto, lives this family tradition and is already passing it on to his children, Paolo and Beatrice. Together they run a modern family business that incorporates both the tradition of the founder but also always new, innovative ideas.
The quality and efficiency are assured in the vinification as well as in the bottling process through a tested production line. In order to maintain its presence on the wine market, constant attention is paid to the technical know-how and the modernization of the machinery.
The Sacchetto winery has been awarded the BRC (British Retailer Consortium) international quality certification, which guarantees a high level of service, compliance with regulations and excellent customer care. Processes and procedures are also audited every year (BRC score: A+).
The wines produced by Sacchetto always have a piece of Veneto in the bottle. “To live in so much tradition is a challenge, but to live it and show it to the world is the basis of our passion and work.”
