The vineyards are situated near the Hungarian border in Horitschon, Mittelburgenland, in eastern Austria. This region is renowned for producing some of Austria’s finest Blaufränkisch and is often referred to as “Blaufränkischland” due to its specialization in this grape variety. The total vineyard area spans 2,104 hectares, benefiting from the region’s unique climate and soil composition, contributing to its wines’ depth, structure, and elegance.
