From the historic Tokaj-Hegyalja region in northeastern Hungary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Hárslevelű wine exemplifies the unique terroir of the world’s first delimited wine region. Nestled at the foothills of the Zemplén Mountains and influenced by the Bodrog and Tisza rivers, the vineyards benefit from a distinctive microclimate, perfect for the development of the renowned Aszú berries. Hárslevelű, meaning “linden leaf” in Hungarian, is a key grape in the creation of Tokaj’s legendary sweet wines. Winemaking:
