Affinitás Hárslevelű

Description

From the historic Tokaj-Hegyalja region in northeastern Hungary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Hárslevelű wine exemplifies the unique terroir of the world’s first delimited wine region. Nestled at the foothills of the Zemplén Mountains and influenced by the Bodrog and Tisza rivers, the vineyards benefit from a distinctive microclimate, perfect for the development of the renowned Aszú berries. Hárslevelű, meaning “linden leaf” in Hungarian, is a key grape in the creation of Tokaj’s legendary sweet wines. Grown in volcanic soils rich with andesite and rhyolite tuff, this wine reflects the region’s volcanic heritage.

Winemaking:

Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, this Hárslevelű is carefully developed over several months. The final blend is crafted by selecting the best vineyard sites, ensuring a balanced and elegant expression of the Tokaj terroir.
