Cepas Centenerías has been made at Castro Ventosa since the 1999 vintage, it is the winery’s signature wine. The fruits come from two plots in the area called Villegas, this is one of the most lauded and least productive area in Valtuille. Villegas produces the most elegant wines. Facing east the plots are ploughed every year to air the soil so that it remains healthy.
Grape varieties: 85% Mencía, 8% Alicante Bouschet, 2% Bastardo and 5% white grapes and other varieties.
