Crafted from our oldest Mourvèdre vines, rooted in clay-limestone soils, this cuvée is produced only in outstanding vintages—when nature offers its finest expression.
Grapes are hand-harvested and gently transported to the cellar in small crates to preserve their quality. Once there, the bunches are destemmed and crushed, initiating a traditional alcoholic fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation in truncated cone-shaped vats.
The wine is then aged for a minimum of 24 months in large oak foudres, allowing it to develop remarkable structure and complexity.
Bottling is done at the Château, ensuring complete control over every step of the process.
Grape varieties: Mourvèdre 95%, Syrah 5%
