Domaine Rolly Gassmann’s Kappelweg de Rorschwihr Riesling Vendanges Tardives is a late-harvest sweet Riesling from the south- to south-east–facing Kappelweg plateau above Rorschwihr, where vines at around 220–235 m grow on very stony blue-grey marl limestone that naturally gives concentrated fruit with firm acidity. Picked late at high ripeness and fermented with native yeasts, it typically has around 12–12.5% alcohol and significant residual sugar, yielding a rich, sweet yet mineral style with flavours of pear, peach and citrus, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, complex finish.
