Domaine Rolly Gassmann’s Stegreben de Rorschwihr Gewurztraminer Sélection de Grains Nobles (often labelled Cuvée Anne-Marie) is an intensely sweet, botrytised dessert wine from the stepped, east / south-east–facing Stegreben slope above Rorschwihr. Made only in exceptional vintages from hand-selected Gewurztraminer berries affected by noble rot, it is deep golden in colour with very concentrated exotic fruit, rose and honey aromas, a luscious, unctuous palate and a long, complex finish. With around 13% alcohol and high residual sugar, it is designed for long ageing and pairs particularly well with blue cheeses, rich pâtés and elaborate fruit-based desserts.
