Bottled in 2018 (30 months sur lie in stainless steel tanks and in French oak barrels)
Shimmering golden-toned highlights compellingly backdrop a dense straw-yellow appearance, all testifying to this wine’s taut energy and exceptional distinction and presaging the lengthy, rich life that lies before it. The initial olfactory encounter reveals an immediate impression of its majestic composition, closely followed by seamless, dense-packed waves of syrup-ripe apricots and peaches. A crisp but subtle florality frames a vibrant, tropical complex of banana and mango, convivial scents of almond paste and toasted hazelnuts, and classic kitchen fragrances of well-ripened pear and apple cake. All in all, a sensory adventure composed of forceful traits and vivid colours that cannot fail to invigorate the taster. The mouth displays more succulence than alcohol, more body than fire, body and earthiness combining at this still-youthful stage of its evolution, rich with multi-layered mineral components and balancing tannins. Almond and peach continue to infuse the palate as well, prelude to a pleasantly austere finish marked by raisins and walnuts.
