The 2016 vintage experienced a relatively mild and humid winter, followed by a very humid spring that delayed flowering by about three weeks. However, once the rain subsided, the flowering phase proceeded successfully. From mid-July onwards, warm temperatures persisted through to the end of fall, with no rain, making 2016 a year marked by contrasts—starting with a very humid first half and ending in drought conditions.
