Pošip is an indigenous grape that is primarily grown on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. This varietal is one of the few that resisted the phylloxera at the end of the 19th century. In 1967 Pošip was the 1st white wine in Croatia with a denomination of origin.
Vineyard: located on the slopes of Mt. Biokovo near Makarska, on the Dalmatian coast.
Harvested by hand the fruits are taken to the cellar, pressed, fermented between 16 and 18 C., then the malolactic fermentation follows, the wine is then aged for six months in stainless-steel tanks and for at least one month in the bottle before release.
