Sine Compromissó Szultán

Description

Sine Compromisso is a boutique winery founded by two friends, who are passionate to produce natural terroir Kékfrankos wines. They work in accordance with the rhythm of the nature, with minimum intervention. Their focus is on the expression of the terroir. Cool climate wines without compromise.

The vineyard is situated on a high-elevation site, reaching up to 350 meters (1,150 feet) above sea level, with a south-east exposure and rows that descend toward the medieval city below. According to legend, the hilltop once served as the location of Sultan Suleyman I’s tent, from where he observed the siege of the castle. The vineyard is cultivated using nature-friendly methods, following the principles of organic and biodynamic farming. Ground cover vegetation is maintained to promote healthy soil, and vine care includes gentle pruning and the use of natural infusion sprays. The grape variety planted is Kékfrankos, a local red known for its ability to produce complex, terroir-driven wines. These vines were planted in 2016, with selections specific to the region, and yield medium-sized bunches and berries that contribute to a concentrated and expressive wine.
