Light straw yellow. Mineral-tropical nose. Ripe mango with stone fruit and citrus underlaid on the palate. Already easy to drink with animating edges. Ageing potential.

On the variety and origins of this wine: In Gumpoldskirchen, the heart of the famous white wine region of the Thermal region south of Vienna, Stift Klosterneuburg has been growing the indigenous grapes Zierfandler (Spätrot) and Rotgipfler for decades. The vineyards in Gumpoldskirchen are home exclusively to these unique varieties, which do particularly well in the lime-stone rich brown earth soil there.
