This wine originates from vineyards planted in soils such as Klapmuts, Estcourt, and Kroonstad, where high-density planting with 3,500 vines per hectare ensures concentrated fruit flavors. The grapes, sourced from different plots on the farm, come from vines over 30 years old, adding complexity and depth to the wine. Harvested by hand in lug boxes, the grapes are destemmed and chilled through a mash cooler. Only the free-run juice is used, ensuring the highest quality, and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures with special yeast until the wine is dry. The wine also receives a subtle touch of oak, enhancing its structure and adding a hint of complexity.
